The integrated flaps have a triple effect: in addition to the more obviously hydrodynamic support in speed, they give their shape a structural effect by reinforcing the aft mirror, and also a static effect having a floating volume of about 13 kg which contributes to lift the stern by stopping and further reduce the incline time.
